THINK GREEN POST

In this video we can see something they call the second industrial revolution. This one is inspired on a principle of the nature where waste doesn’t exist, everything is used again as nutrition, so we can do the same about industrial waste and reuse the products when they finish their useful life, we can use them as “nutrition” for new products. As an industrial engineer we always are looking for ways to improve productivity by reducing costs and we are also responsible for the environment and how the activities for the industries affect it, so according to this video we can solve both issues applying this principle of the nature. Just take a look to the video, is very interesting

QUESTIONNAIRE FOR A JOB INTERVIEW

* Tell me about yourself:
This is a very common question. You need to have the shortest response prepared in advance. Be careful not to sound prepared. Try to highlight issues related to the job you are applying. Talk about things you have done and jobs you have had to relate to the position for which you are interviewing. Start by talking from the oldest to date.
* Why did you leave your last job?
Stay positive regardless of the circumstances leading to the release of his latest work. Never refer to the reason was due to a problem with his superiors and never talk more than his previous supervisors, coworkers or the organization. Be positive and smiling and referring to positive reasons to justify his departure from his previous work as seeking new opportunities or for example a different kind of vision for the future that led him to leave his previous work.
* What experience do you have in this field?
Talk about specific issues that relate to the position you are applying. If you have specific experience, try to get as close as you can.
* Do you consider yourself successful?
You should always answer yes and briefly explain why. A good explanation is that she has goals that has been performing and who has helped others achieve their goals
* What do your coworkers say about you?
Be prepared with a quote or two of their colleagues. It can be a quote about some recognition to a specific achievement you accomplished in your previous job or something more general as saying that his boss always said you were one of the workers.
* What do you know about this organization?
You need to make a preliminary investigation of the organization you are applying for work, now with the internet is a very simple task. Find out the origins of the organization and where it is going. What are the current problems and who are the main protagonists?
* What have you done to improve their knowledge in the past year? Try to include activities that relate to the job. You can also take a wide variety of activities involving a comprehensive improvement of their personal knowledge of yourself.
* Are you applying for other jobs?
Be honest, but do not waste much time on this and focus its response immediately on the job you are applying in the interview and what you can do for that organization. Anything else is a distraction.
* Why do you want to work for this organization?
This may take some personal thoughts and, of course, be based on research he has done for the organization. Sincerity is extremely important here and will easily be perceived. Where possible refer to their long-term career goals.
* Do you know someone who works for us?
Be aware of the policy on relatives working for the organization. This can affect your answer but please note that asked about known and not relatives. Be careful to mention a friend only if he is well regarded.

UNIT 6

In this lesson I learned how to lead a good interview for this should consider the following tips: A great written resume with a compelling cover letter, a striking pasta, it can be put first into a pile of hundreds of applications, but it is you who will be responsible for successfully presented as a potential option to integrate this new equipment; will show you how:

Investigate your employer:
Interviewers will be asked about your company, for example, why would like to work for us? You may ask the candidate about his views of products, the company's history. This information is easily accessible on the Web site, thus demonstrating a genuine interest in the job.

Talk about your strengths:
Answer this standard question directing their strengths to the needs of the office to which you are applying, with a clear and concise language.

Consider your non-verbal language:
A firm handshake tells the interviewer that you have confidence in their abilities. Also, good posture shows confidence. Do not worry. Lean toward the interviewer to show that you are listening
